         vessel and its inclusion in the assessed value as

         extended cost of transportation – decision taken in the

         Chief Commissioner of Customs Conference on

         Valuation held at Mumbai on 01.10.2005 and Board

         meeting dated 28.11.2005 - reg.

              A copy of CBEC Circular No. 04/2006-Cus Dt:12.01.2006 issued by CBEC from F.No.467/79/2005-Cus.V, on the above subject is enclosed herewith for information, guidance and necessary action.

              The Circular is self-explanatory and any difficulty faced in implementation of the same may be brought to the notice of the undersigned immediately.

              All the Trade Associations/Chamber of Commerce/Members of Regional Advisory Committees and Custom House Agents’ Association are requested to publicize the contents of this Public Notice among their members/constituents.
