         Subject:– Instructions regarding conducting special

                   clearing operation on the evening of 31^st

                            March 2006. 

         Attention of all Importers, Exporters, Custom House Agents, Shipping Agents and Members of the Trade are invited to Public Notice No. 24/2006 dated 28.03.2006 issued by Custom House Kandla.

         In continuation of above Public   Notice a copy of CBEC. New Delhi’s letter No.296/31/2006-CX-9 dated 24.03.2006 alongwith the Reserve Bank of India’s letter dated 21.03.2006 is enclosed herewith for information, guidance and necessary action.

         All the Trade Associations/Chamber of Commerce/Members of Regional Advisory Committees and Custom House Agents’ Association are requested to publicize the contents of this Public Notice among their members/constituents.
